Latest News from the President .:
It's official- AMPHL's next conference is in Portland, OR on August 6-7, 2011!
There is a lot of conference planning to do between now and then! We still do not have a fundraising chair, and very much need one! We need to raise at least $10,000 more in order for this conference to be a reality. We also need someone to take on the publicity chair to help us get the word out about our conference to as many medical professional schools and medical professional organizations as possible. Then we also need conference committee members to help with such tasks as recruiting vendors/exhibitors, making the call for presentation proposals, selecting presenters, etc. If anyone is interested in helping with fundraising, publicity, and/or conference planning, please contact AMPHL President and Conference Co-Chair Candie Corriher at president@amphl.org. No experience necessary, all we require is enthusiasm and initiative!
